The hotel is appointed with lovely gardens in a superb location. The rooms were spacious, clean, decorated, and furnished to a high standard. The service was warm and welcoming with marvelous owners and personable staff. The dining experience offered prepared-to-order meals with plenty of gluten-free options. All in all, a wonderful base to explore the local area.

Staying at the Skelwith was a delightful experience with sumptuous and spacious rooms, clean and cozy accommodations, and lovely touches like homemade cake daily. The breathtaking views made it a memorable stay, even though the bathroom was a bit cramped. A great value for such a beautiful place.
